Membership & Partnership

Our Memberships

memberships that power protection

APLE’s impact is grounded in partnerships and memberships that translate into real protection for children. We work across government, law enforcement, social services, schools, tech, tourism, and communities to embed standards, policies, and practices that endure.

Long-term government partnerships that institutionalize change

APLE collaborates with the MoI, MoSVY, MoEYS, MPTC, and MoWA, to support and co-create policies and SOPs owned by ministries, implemented by frontline staff, and funded within government systems.
With law enforcement units, APLE supports child-friendly investigations, digital evidence handling, and coordinated prosecutions—reducing re-traumatization, accelerating case resolution, and strengthening due process. Aligned with national frameworks and international standards from ECPAT and INHOPE, APLE’s tools and trainings are integrated into routine government practice, sustaining change beyond project cycles.

Service providers and industry partners driving a protective ecosystem

APLE’s partnerships with social workers, shelters, hospitals, schools, and community leaders enable seamless, trauma-informed support from first contact to recovery.
Through INHOPE membership and operational partnerships with Meta and TikTok, APLE’s Internet Hotline powers rapid, cross-border notice-and-takedown of illegal content.
As a champion and partner of The Code for the Protection of Children in Travel and Tourism, APLE helps hotels, guesthouses, tour operators, taxi/tuk-tuk drivers, and local guides implement safeguarding policies, staff training, and reporting SOPs.

Global networks and strategic alliances against Child Sexual Exploitation

As a member of ECPAT International, APLE contributes to regional research, survivor-centered standards, and joint advocacy to prevent and respond to sexual exploitation of children.
As a member of INHOPE, APLE coordinates internationally on CSAM takedown with peer hotlines and platforms, accelerating cross-border action and reducing exposure at scale.
APLE partners with WeProtect Global Alliance and aligns national action to the Global Response Model, informs policy, and translates commitments into operational practice with government and industry.

Donor Partnerships

Donors fuel scale, resilience, and sustainability

Long-term, outcomes-based funding enables rapid responses to emerging risks (including online harms), strengthens core systems (hotline, case management, MEL), and supports capacity transfer to government and local partners. Donor investments deliver faster CSAM takedown, higher public reporting, stronger survivor outcomes, and institutionalized child-friendly justice procedures. APLE tracks referrals, case outcomes, and behavior change to ensure measurable protection. Donor support underpins APLE’s governance, safeguarding, data protection, and financial accountability, anchoring a resilient, Cambodian-led organization.
