APLE hosted an enlightening study tour organized by Operations Enfants du Cambodge, welcoming 21 delegates from Battambang province. The event was specifically designed to deepen the participants’ understanding of interventions against online child exploitation and abuse, a pressing issue in today’s digital-first world.

APLE’s team, alongside Maj. Gen. Kim Pheap and Maj. Gen. Khuon Sokpiseth from the Cambodian National Police, provided the delegates with in-depth insights into the challenges and strategies related to combating online child exploitation and abuse. The sharing session aimed to equip the delegates with the knowledge and tools necessary to enhance their efforts in protecting children from digital threats.

Ms. Tith Davy, representing Operations Enfants du Cambodge, expressed gratitude for the educational tour, highlighting the importance of such collaborative efforts in addressing the complexities of online child safety. She voiced her hope that the delegates would return to their communities with effective strategies and a renewed commitment to fighting online child exploitation and abuse.

This initiative underscores the power of partnership and education in the ongoing battle against digital dangers facing children, showcasing a unified approach to safeguarding the wellbeing of the youngest members of our society.
