Phnom Penh, 27–28 August 2026: In collaboration with the General Commissariat of National Police, APLE Cambodia organized a two-day specialized training on “Victim-Centered Investigation of Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OCSEA)”, under the chairmanship of H.E. Lieutenant General Chiv Phally, Deputy Commissioner-General of the Cambodian National Police.

The training brought together 45 senior leaders and specialised police officers from the Anti-Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection Department and its offices, together with the Phnom Penh and Kandal Provincial Police Commissariats. It aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and practical skills in investigating cases, collecting and managing evidence, and applying child-friendly, trauma-informed approaches when responding to OCSEA cases.

Key topics included:
▪️ Investigation techniques in accordance with legal principles and types of evidence
▪️ Open-source investigation and digital evidence collection
▪️ Fundamentals of forensic interviewing of children
▪️ Trauma-informed responses to the psychological impact of abuse
