Roundtable presided over by H.E. Lieutenant General Chiv Phally addresses national coordination, cross-border cooperation, and victim-centred protection

The General Commissariat of National Police and Action Pour Les Enfants jointly organised a roundtable aimed at strengthening national coordination and cross-border cooperation to combat Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OCSEA) and protect victims.

The roundtable, held under the theme “Combating Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OCSEA) and Strengthening Victim Protection,” was presided over by H.E. Lieutenant General Chiv Phally, Deputy Commissioner General of the National Police in charge of the Anti-Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection Department, and High Representative of H.E. General Sar Thet, Commissioner General of the National Police.

Through the sharing of case studies, current trends, and discussion of key challenges, participants defined recommendations and priority actions to reinforce joint response and improve coordination among relevant institutions, ensure that victims receive timely, appropriate, and victim-centred protection and support services, and create a safe digital environment for all children.

Through collaboration and shared commitment, APLE will continue to work closely with the government, law enforcement authorities, civil society organisations, and international partners to achieve these goals.
