New guidelines, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Sar Sokha, strengthen how survivors — including children — are identified and connected to services

Action Pour Les Enfants (APLE) congratulates all stakeholders on the official launch of the Guidelines on Procedures for Identifying Victims of Human Trafficking for Appropriate Service Provision. The launch was presided over by H.E. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, and Chair of the National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking.

The new guidelines strengthen how survivors of human trafficking, including children, are identified and connected to the services they need — supporting a more coordinated, survivor-centred national response.

As a member of Cambodia’s child protection community, APLE recognises the guidelines as an important step toward ensuring that every survivor, including children, is identified promptly and connected to appropriate support.

APLE joins the National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking and all stakeholders involved in marking this milestone and looks forward to continued collaboration to protect child survivors across Cambodia.
