In a concerted effort to safeguard children in the digital world, APLE, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, successfully hosted a full-day workshop on Sept 23, 2024, in Kampot province, dedicated to raising awareness about online child safety and tackling the pressing issue of online child sexual exploitation.
This workshop, made possible through the financial support of Brot für die Welt, brought together a diverse group of stakeholders from the education and social sectors. Participants engaged in dynamic discussions and received valuable insights on safety measures and best practices essential for preventing and effectively responding to online child abuse
The workshop marked a significant stride toward enhancing the knowledge and capacity of educators, social workers, and other relevant actors in the fight against online child sexual exploitation.
