APLE was honored to take part in a panel discussion on fostering collaboration and collective efforts for child online protection. This discussion took place during the Online Safety Forum, co-organized by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications and Smart Axiata on July 30, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh.Mr. Seila, the Director of APLE, shared his insights on the unique roles of different stakeholders in safeguarding children online. He emphasized the necessity to align laws with international standards, increase dedicated resources, clarify roles and responsibilities, and improve reporting systems to tackle challenges in cooperation among various agencies.
