About APLE
Two decades of consistent, collaborative work — recognised by the government bodies, networks, and communities we work alongside.
Context
Our focus is always on impact for children — but acknowledgment from partners, ministries, and global networks affirms the quality, integrity, and effectiveness of our approach. The recognitions below reflect trust built over years of consistent delivery, not a one-time award.
At home
Widely acknowledged by Cambodian stakeholders for consistent, collaborative action to protect children.
Ongoing coordination with MoSVY/DoSVY, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, and the Ministry of Women's Affairs on child protection policy, SOPs, and referrals.
Long-standing cooperation with the Anti-Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection Unit to support child-friendly investigations, digital evidence workflows, and coordinated prosecutions.
Recognised as a trusted partner of the Cambodian Red Cross (Phnom Penh branch) and NGOs within the Family Care First network for case coordination and crisis response.
Appreciation from local authorities, school leaders, and community groups for prevention education, help-seeking promotion, and strengthening local protection mechanisms.
Worldwide
Connected to and recognised by global networks and initiatives working on the same problem worldwide.
Since 2015, APLE has operated Cambodia's Internet Hotline in partnership with INHOPE — the leading global network of internet hotlines — supporting timely cross-border notice-and-takedown of CSAM and coordinated enforcement.
Engagement in regional dialogues, survivor-informed initiatives, and country overview processes strengthens APLE's policy and practice, aligning with international standards.
Contributions and alignment with global evidence — including the Disrupting Harm study and Global Boys Initiative insights — help translate best practice into Cambodia's context.

Recognition is a byproduct of consistent work — not the goal of it. Here’s how you can be part of what comes next.
