Phnom Penh – 11 December 2016: At Koh Pich Theater, some 3,000 participants celebrated the National Anti-Human Trafficking Day to mark their efforts to combat human trafficking in Cambodia. The event was organized by the National Committee for Counter Trafficking (NCCT), in collaboration with other development partners and organizations. Deputy Prime Minister Sar Kheng, Chairman of NCCT, presided over the event and many representatives from government institutions, diplomatic missions, NGO members, and other relevant stakeholders also attended.
Seizing this opportunity of celebration, APLE Cambodia also expressed its strong support to work with with others to counter human trafficking and exploitation, especially child sex abuse and exploitation.
