Advancing the Fight Against Online Child Sexual Exploitation

On May 17th, APLE and the Police Academy of Cambodia hosted a technical working group meeting to review a draft training manual focused on online child sexual exploitation and abuse. The session was highly productive, bringing together experts and stakeholders to gather valuable feedback for further refinement of the manual.

Enhancing Training and Preparedness

The aim of this meeting was to ensure the training manual is comprehensive and effective in equipping law enforcement officers with the knowledge and skills they need to combat online child sexual exploitation. The feedback received during the session will be crucial in enhancing the manual, making it a robust resource for police training.

Integrating Knowledge into Practice

Once finalized, the training manual will be integrated into the Police Academy’s curriculum, thereby institutionalizing the best practices for dealing with OCSEA. This initiative reflects APLE’s commitment to improving law enforcement capabilities through education and specialized training.
