Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator Wanted

We are looking for a qualified Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator to join our organization. In this role, you will provide monitoring and evaluation support for our various projects and programmes. You will work closely with executive director, project team leaders, and program coordinator.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

  • Support the creation and implementation of a comprehensive Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system and strategy, to effectively track the progress, achievement, outcome, and effectiveness of projects/programmes
  • Develop data collection tools and methodologies to measure outcomes and impact
  • Oversee the collection of relevant data and ensure its accuracy and completeness, including conducting interviews or focus groups, and analysing quantitative and qualitative data
  • Monitor the implementation of programs or projects, tracking activities, outputs, and outcomes against planned targets and objectives
  • Conduct evaluations to assess the effectiveness and impact of programs or interventions, including designing evaluation frameworks, conducting evaluations, and preparing reports with actionable recommendations for program improvement
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing data verification processes, conducting regular data audits, and addressing any data quality issues
  • Streamline the flow of relevant information within the organization for accurate program planning and strategic decision-making
  • Facilitate the sharing of lessons learned, best practices, and success stories across the organization, contributing to organizational learning by documenting and disseminating M&E findings and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure the dissemination of comprehensive feedback reports to the project team
  • Oversee the execution of baseline surveys as necessitated by the project, liaising with consultants and participating in evaluations as a team member

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in management, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of program monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • Proficiency with project design, development of M&E systems, and project management tools
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational abilities with an ability to handle multiple, competing priorities
  • Polished communication skills, both written and verbal
